Sheelagh has a wealth of experience operating as an
Administrator in both the public and private sectors
of the economy and she has had considerable success
in both environments.
She has worked as an integral part of
multi-disciplinary / multi-cultural teams on a
variety of complex projects.
Sheelagh holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree, having
majored in the Arts and Sociology, from The Open
University and a Bachelor of Business Administration
Degree from the Universidade Aberta Internacional Da
Ásia.
She worked in Dundee with Balfour Kilpatrick and
with the General Accident Fire & Life Assurance
Company before moving to Aberdeen where she worked
with Jenkins & Marr Architects and Sea & Land
Pipelines Ltd.
She relocated to Hong Kong in 1978 and joined The
English Schools Foundation.
Sheelagh returned to the United Kingdom in 1989 and
worked with Alister on a variety of research
assignments for Developments, Commercial &
Industrial (Holdings) Ltd until family commitments
forced her to put a halt to her research activities.
In 1997 Sheelagh joined General Accident Property
Services Ltd., a leading Scottish residential estate
agency, as an Administration Centre Supervisor.
She established the Northern Scotland Administration
Centre covering the Grampian and Tayside regions and
was responsible for handling customer complaints,
routine personnel issues, invoicing, aged debt
analysis, the recovery of monies due, banking,
recording property details, advertising, liaison
with facilities management, general administration
and general correspondence.
Sheelagh assisted Alister from 2007 to 2011 in
undertaking commissions while he served as a Partner
and Head of Public Sector Services with Robinson Low
Francis LLP and she is currently responsible for the
general administration of the LLP leaving Alister
free to concentrate on professional, technical and
research activities.
